CartQuant is a specialized Shopify app designed to give merchants full control over their cart experience by hiding the quantity selector. Many stores need this functionality when selling items that should be purchased in fixed quantities only — such as digital downloads, printables, single-unit products, gift sets, or subscription boxes.
I built and published this app on the Shopify App Store to solve a common pain point for merchants who want to prevent customers from changing product quantities in the cart, ensuring a cleaner checkout flow and better control over order processing.

Challenges & Solutions: The main challenge was creating a clean solution that works reliably across different Shopify themes (Online Store 2.0 and classic) and both cart drawer + full cart page without breaking other functionality. Solved it with targeted CSS/JS selectors, conditional rendering, and thorough testing on multiple themes to ensure compatibility and zero performance impact.
