Kakao Alimtalk Notifications is a specialized Shopify app that sends real-time KakaoTalk (AlimTalk) notifications to Korean customers for order, shipping, delivery, and refund updates. It serves as a powerful, localized alternative to traditional SMS, significantly reducing customer support inquiries while building trust and improving satisfaction in the Korean market.
I contributed to the development and optimization of this Shopify app, creating a seamless integration that automates post-purchase communication using Kakao’s official AlimTalk service directly from the Shopify admin.

Challenge & Solution: The main challenge was to build a reliable, easy-to-use integration with Kakao Alimtalk that works seamlessly inside Shopify, supports full customization, and delivers instant notifications without requiring merchants to manage separate Kakao accounts or complex setups.
