Challenge & Solution: Many Shopify stores struggle to showcase their social media profiles effectively. Hard-coded icons look inconsistent, break on mobile, or don’t match the brand, resulting in missed opportunities to grow followers and build trust.
The challenge was to create a flexible, lightweight solution that supports dozens of platforms, allows full visual customization (including custom icons and animations), and works perfectly across all pages and devices without slowing down the store.
I solved this by developing a highly customizable floating bar system with easy positioning controls, custom icon support, and clean code. Merchants can now add professional-looking social icons in minutes that perfectly match their brand and drive real social engagement.
